We are proud as punch to be rated number 3 in the “Most popular HR software” report by GetApp! We took third place in Canada and the United Kingdom, competing with such world-renowned HR apps as Zoho Recruit and Workable. What made us stand out in the crowd and what did we get points for?

A recent report from GetApp ranked Calamari as one of the most used HR apps in the UK by GetApp users. To come to this conclusion, we used the data from the “I use this” functionality on the GetApp website, which asks users that have a GetApp which software they are currently using. This data was then segmented by category (in this case HR) and then by country (in the case of Calamari, the UK).

While the sample sizes per country differed according to the number of registered users, in the case of the UK we had 98 users who had indicated that they use an HR app listed on GetApp. This included both general HR solutions, as well as apps for categories such as recruitment, leave management, and from this sample, we found that Calamari was the third most used HR software in the UK (behind Zoho Recruit and Workable) by GetApp users. All HR software listed on GetApp was eligible for inclusion — Karen McCandless, GetApp’s Researcher says.

Nice achievement, you say, but does it prove anything?

Apart from the fact that it just made us happy and got us even more motivated, the high score in the ranking also proves something serious: Calamari is simply GOOD. As it comes to companies with 50 employees and more, they seek more recognized HR brands. That also seems to be totally accurate with regard to the Polish market for human resources apps.
